SB-LAB is a one-man business: behind this name there is only me, a craftsman who has been working independently for over ten years.
This website was born back in 2007 as a simple personal blog and, after a domain change, became in 2015 the official site representing my professional activity. In more than 18 years I have poured here my experiences, thoughts, and technical knowledge accumulated over time. Many articles have changed, others have been merged, rewritten, or removed: the result is a vast and constantly evolving archive that requires continuous effort to keep it up to date and consistent with my way of working, which has also evolved over time.
However, my profession is not that of a webmaster or content editor: I repair audio equipment, build transformers, and design my own amplifiers. The website serves as a showcase for my work, a way to stay in touch with enthusiasts, attract new clients, and at the same time share technical knowledge (which was the original purpose of this space).
In recent years, artificial intelligence has become a common tool in many fields. I also use it, but in a conscious and ethical way: not to generate automatic or impersonal content, but rather to speed up repetitive tasks and improve the quality of the texts. It helps me, for example, to:
- Correct or reformat articles written years ago;
- Eliminate repetitions or inconsistencies;
- Merge multiple texts into a single coherent one;
- Accurately translate my articles into other languages;
- Fix HTML errors accumulated over various WordPress versions;
- Or even create small illustrations or images to make reading more enjoyable.
AI is, in every respect, a support tool, not a substitute for human thought. Unfortunately, many people use it to mass-produce superficial or inaccurate content, flooding the web with “digital junk” that lacks any human review. This is one of the reasons why I decided to publish this notice: to make it clear that you will not find randomly generated or automatic content on this website.
Everything I publish originates from me — from my work, my experience, and my mind. Artificial intelligence only assists me in the revision and optimization phase, but every text is written, reviewed, and approved personally before publication.
In short: I use AI ethically and constructively, to improve content and save time, not to replace human input. I trust that readers will recognize the difference: behind every article on this site there are real ideas, passion, and craftsmanship — not soulless algorithms.
